Arntz Optibelt records turnover of some €310 million in 2025
Höxter, 14 October 2026.
The Arntz Optibelt Group ended the 2025 financial year with turnover of around €310 million, exceeding the previous year's figure. At the same time, economic conditions remained challenging in many markets.
In Europe in particular, increasing market concentration in the distribution sector was among the factors affecting the market structure. In the Americas and Asia, too, political and economic uncertainty, growing competitive pressure and subdued investment shaped business performance. In North and South America, political uncertainty, US tariffs, inflation and high interest rates weighed on investment and trade. Nevertheless, Optibelt recorded strong year-on-year growth in the Americas and Asia.
Investment in sites and competitiveness
The Group continued to invest in the long-term viability of its international sites. The focus was on modernising manufacturing processes, improving efficiency and further developing strategically important product segments. The Group also continued to expand its product portfolio.
At its headquarters in Höxter, priorities included introducing new product ranges into production, optimising processes and further developing future-oriented business areas. Agricultural technology, material handling and logistics, in particular, are becoming increasingly important. The Group also advanced the development of new products and technologies to strengthen its market position over the long term.
Procurement markets also remained broadly stable in 2025. The availability of key raw materials improved, while further improvements were made to procurement processes. Over the coming months, the company will continue to monitor geopolitical developments and their potential impact on material, energy and transport costs closely.
Apprenticeship Start 2026
At the start of the new training year, the Arntz Optibelt Group welcomed 14 apprentices and dual students to its Höxter site. Once again, the positions filled included all available apprenticeships for machine and plant operators. With its wide range of apprenticeship and study programmes in technical, commercial, creative and digital fields, Optibelt is laying the foundations for the next generation of skilled workers across a wide variety of business areas. The apprenticeship and study places for 2027 have already been published.
