Arntz Optibelt records Turnover of some €284 Million in 2024

  • Apprenticeship Start 2025

Höxter, 5 September 2025. The Arntz Optibelt Group’s turnover in 2024 was around 284 million euros, which represents a slight reduction compared to the previous year.

During the 2024 financial year, the Arntz Optibelt Group had to deal with a number of difficult circumstances. In addition to the generally sluggish economic development, the company was also subjected to a cyber-attack in late summer 2024. This resulted in temporary restrictions in parts of the business. Maintaining business operations under difficult conditions was only made possible by the dedication and commitment of our employees. In addition, our strong partnerships with customers and suppliers played a key role in maintaining supply. This once again demonstrated the value of long-term partnerships.

Notwithstanding these exceptional circumstances, pivotal strategic projects were successfully implemented. These include the start-up of the new production plant in San Juan del Río (Mexico), the expansion of production capacity in Romania and the commissioning of the new logistics centre in Steinheim (Westphalia).

International Customer Event in Höxter

During the Hannover Messe in spring 2025, the Arntz Optibelt Group held its Tech Days at the Höxter headquarters – a multi-day event highlighting innovation, quality and customer focus. Numerous international guests took the opportunity to find out about pioneering drive solutions. They also had the chance to talk to our Optibelt experts in person.

“The Tech Days provide the ideal platform for us to present our technologies in action”, explains Managing Director Regina Arning. During the event, various exhibits, test benches and models were used to demonstrate the durability, performance and top quality of Optibelt’s products in a practice-oriented way.

Apprenticeship Start 2025

At Optibelt, we have always placed a high value on nurturing and developing young talent. In early August, 19 new apprentices and dual students began their training in a variety of exciting fields at the Höxter site. “This year’s strong intake of apprentices demonstrates the Arntz Optibelt Group’s commitment to fostering young talent and investing in the skilled workforce of tomorrow,” said Managing Director Konrad Ummen. A clear sign of this commitment: the newly introduced apprenticeship for machine and plant operators was immediately taken up by four highly motivated apprentices.
