Our path to climate neutrality

As part of the global Paris Climate Agreement of 12.12.2015 of the UN Climate Change Conference and the necessary reduction of CO ₂ emissions, the Arntz Optibelt Group aims to operate its sites in a climate-neutral manner under its own steam. At the same time, activities are being undertaken to achieve sustainable and long-term improvements in the value chain. These activities support the UN's sustainability goals:

  • Goal 7 - Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all
  • Goal 13 - Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts

Optibelt is aiming for climate neutrality by 2040 at the latest. At the same time, we call on our suppliers and business partners to follow suit and expect all of them to reduce their CO ₂ emissions by 2030 and become climate neutral by 2040.
