    Optimized drive safety through controlled belt slip


    The additional PK ribbed belt profile on the back of the optibelt OMEGA RB allows the belt to slip in the event of a sudden jam or stoppage. The Optibelt drive belt will protect the valuable drive components and allow the drive to restart once the blockage is removed.

    Thanks to the large number of ribs, the ribbed belt offers a large contact surface with the pulley. This results in less slippage, smoother running, and high efficiency of over 95%. Ideal for mills that run under high loads.

    Mill drives must transmit a lot of power in a small space. A ribbed belt combines the flexibility of a flat belt with the high power transmission of a V-belt.
