Proven Technology Reimagined
Starting July 1, this product will be replaced by an optimized, enhanced solution. The new generation, the optibelt OPTIMAX HF2, is manufactured using an optimized production process. This process utilizes precisely wound polyester tension members that are encased on both sides by a high-quality polychloroprene rubber compound. During the finishing process, the flat belt is additionally ground on one side to ensure optimal running characteristics. In this new design, additional fabric layers were deliberately omitted in the standard range, as this design already matches the performance of its predecessor.
The further-developed optibelt OPTIMAX HF2 high-performance flat belt offers a significant increase in quality and transverse stiffness thanks to its increased material thickness of 1.6 mm, without compromising its ability to be used with even the smallest pulley diameters. It is designed as the successor to the optibelt OPTIMAX HF150 and can be used in an existing drive system without major modifications. Particular attention was paid to ensuring identical performance and elongation values, making a direct replacement possible.
