Proven Technology Reimagined
The new generation of the optibelt OPTIMAX HF2 high-performance flat belt is manufactured using an optimized production process. This process utilizes precisely wound polyester tension members that are encased on both sides by a high-quality polychloroprene rubber compound. During the finishing process, the flat belt is additionally ground on one side to ensure optimal running characteristics. In this new design, additional fabric layers were deliberately omitted in the standard range, as this design already matches the performance of its predecessor.
The further-developed optibelt OPTIMAX HF2 high-performance flat belt offers a significant increase in quality and transverse stiffness thanks to its increased material thickness of 1.6 mm, without compromising its ability to be used with even the smallest pulley diameters. It is designed as the successor to the optibelt OPTIMAX HF150 and can be used in an existing drive system without major modifications. Particular attention was paid to ensuring identical performance and elongation values, making a direct replacement possible.

These qualities are further enhanced by the wide operating temperature range and excellent resistance to oil, grease, solvents, and moisture. Thanks to its ground inner surface, the optibelt OPTIMAX HF2 high-performance flat belt achieves remarkably smooth operation in terms of vibrations and noise emissions. This allows belt speeds of over 50 m/s to be achieved. Its electrical conductivity is also worth highlighting. In accordance with ISO 9563, the antistatic properties can be certified upon request. Furthermore, the optibelt OPTIMAX HF2 high-performance flat belt features the expanded Optibelt marking system with symbols indicating belt properties and enhanced traceability.

Typical areas of application include, for example, machine tools, woodworking machinery, textile machinery, printing presses, and similar equipment. The optibelt OPTIMAX HF2 high-performance flat belt is also suitable for light-duty transport applications as well as for use in gardening and agricultural equipment. The embedded polyester tension cord absorbs shocks and vibrations and can help extend the service life of the entire drive system.
