Optibelt USA expands: New logistics center in Texas

Optibelt North America has reached another milestone with the opening of a new warehouse in Odessa, Texas. This strategic decision underlines the continuous growth of the Arntz Optibelt Group and the increasing importance of the North American market - especially in the oil and gas industry.

Review and development

Optibelt's success story in North America began in February 1977 with a location in Addison, Illinois. Since then, the network has steadily expanded. Today, Bartlett, Illinois, is the main location with an area of 6,500 m². An additional warehouse in South Carolina and the new location in Odessa supplement the logistics capacities and strengthen the regional supply. The North American team now consists of over 70 employees, including a dedicated support team in Mexico.

Strategic importance of the Permian Basin

The new storage facility in Odessa is located in the heart of the Permian Basin - one of the most productive regions for oil and gas production in the USA. This sedimentary basin covers an area approximately 250 miles wide and 300 miles long in West Texas and Southeast New Mexico. The region is regarded as a key source of energy in the USA and places particularly high demands on equipment and security of supply.

Infrastructure and partnerships

Optibelt offers a reliable infrastructure to support the energy industry in this region. In addition to the new warehouse, Optibelt is working with Energy Sales, an established local partner. Together they supply numerous oilfield supply stores and service providers with high-quality components, safety equipment and special tools.
