Tech Days 2025: International Customer Event at Optibelt in Höxter

Höxter, 3 April, 2025 The Tech Days 2025 event took place from 31 March to 3 April at the headquarters of Arntz Optibelt Group in Höxter, Germany – the customer event, spanning several days, showcased the ingenuity and superior quality of Optibelt’s products to excellent effect. Numerous international guests were warmly welcomed and invited to exchange information, in person, regarding trendsetting drive solutions.

During the event, various exhibits, test benches and models were used to demonstrate the durability, performance and quality of Optibelt’s products in a practice-oriented way. “We are delighted that we were able to welcome so many international guests to our headquarters. The Tech Days provide the ideal platform for us to present our technologies in action”, explains Managing Director Regina Arning. “‘The consistently positive feedback from our customers gives us a boost and strengthens our resolve to continue developing innovative solutions with a view to the challenges of tomorrow.”

Insights, discussions and extraordinary exhibits

The Tech Days 2025 agenda was varied: The main items on the agenda took place on Monday and Wednesday in Höxter, while on Tuesday, guests were given an opportunity to visit the Optibelt Material Handling plant in Rinteln. Things were brought to a close on Thursday with a joint visit to the Hannover Messe trade fair. The international evening on Wednesday was a special highlight, offering an ideal setting for personal discussions and cultural exchange.

This year, Optibelt has consciously decided to offer its customers their own platform. Even without a stand at this year’s Hannover Messe, Optibelt clearly demonstrated that: innovation, quality and customer proximity are best experienced at their place of origin – on site.

The Rinteln plant also opened its doors for the Tech Days, this year. Here, where the production of belts for the transport and logistics industry takes centre stage, Optibelt was able to present the diversity of its solutions. From conveyor systems for cheese through to bottle inspections and carrot conveyor belts – visitors were able to see for themselves the versatility and power of Optibelt PU (polyurethane belts) in everyday industrial situations. “What at first seems rather exotic to many people is a daily reality for us and our customers”, says OMH Managing Director Alexander Bathe. “We are proud to be making a valuable contribution to a wide range of transport and logistics processes with our products.”

At the test facility in Höxter, two Porsche 911s and a Karmann Ghia Cabriolet were on display. A forage harvester and a combine harvester made by Claas were also exhibited on the company premises. And as further impressive examples of the versatile applications for Optibelt products, a quad bike and a drive made by Tecnamic were included in the exhibition.

“We don’t want to just sell products to our customers; we want to offer them solutions”, summarises Daniel Schwager, Head of Marketing. “And the most successful way to do this is to offer hands-on experience – right here where the high-quality products are created.”
