    To ensure optimum performance, there are a number of aspects to consider with regard to the installation, maintenance and storage of Optibelt v-belts.

    • Einbauvorschriften und Sicherheitshinweise der PKW-Hersteller beachten
    • Montage der Antriebsriemen nur mit Spezialwerkzeugen und geringem Krafteinsatz ohne Einsatz von Schraubendrehern, Brecheisen o. Ä.
    • Keine Behandlung der Komponenten des Steuerbetriebs mit ätzenden Chemikalien. Kein Kontakt mit Öl oder ähnlichen Stoffen
    • Zahnriemen-Aufkleber lesbar ausfüllen und gut sichtbar in den Motorraum kleben
    • Austausch aller Komponenten, wenn Teilkomponenten defekt sind
    Lagerung
    • Trockene Lagerung bei Temperaturen zwischen +15°C und +25°C
    • Bei unsachgemäßer Lagerung, z. B. bei Einwirkung durch Sauerstoff, Licht, extremen Temperaturen oder Feuchtigkeit, können sich physikalische Eigenschaften ändern, so dass der Keilriemen unbrauchbar wird
    • Bis zum Einsatz der Keilriemen sollen diese original verpackt und spannungsfrei gelagert werden
    • Keine Überschreitung einer Höhe von 300 mm bei Stapelung der Riemen, da sonst Deformationen auftreten können
